Dr. Talal Nsouli, Allergy Expert: Stress Can Worsen Allergies, Affect Treatment

[1]Not only has this been a tough allergy season for many across the country, but stress — particularly chronic stress — could make allergy and asthma symptoms worse, according to Talal Nsouli, MD, an allergist and member of the AANMA Board of Directors. “It amplifies the situation,” Dr. Nsouli explains in an interview with Washington, DC’s ABC 7 News. Stress can also affect how a person responds to allergy treatment, he adds.
