Marketing Director

Allergy & Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and measurable success in marketing and membership development for grassroots nonprofit organizations.

The Marketing Director will be responsible for crafting and executing the immediate and long-range strategic marketing and membership programs supporting AANMA's patient-focused mission and in conjunction with AANMA's President and Board of Directors. This person must bring strong writing and editing skills, working knowledge of database management programs and desire to work in a team environment.

The Marketing Director will be responsible for coordinating the strategy among all departments. The ideal candidate will also have experience with online marketing and outreach campaigns. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create, develop, and manage marketing content marketing
  • Ensure projects and campaigns maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all AANMA products
  • Working with the AANMA staff to maintain and develop the master content calendar for all marketing products and campaigns
  • Copyedit and proofread all marketing content
  • Manage and measure marketing campaigns to demonstrate success and/or to make adjustments needed
  • Support online advocacy, education, outreach and membership campaigns
  • Marketing analytics and metrics: Produce monthly, actionable progress and status reports on marketing efforts for staff and AANMA Board of Directors noting trends and competitive position
  • Assure marketing products and campaigns are archived for future needs and reference
  • Work cooperatively with key team members and vendors

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with relevant software platforms and online action tools preferred
  • Comfortable with marketing analytics software and metrics; working experience with iMIS a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and superior attention to detail
  • Minimum three-to-five years quality work experience
