Webmaster/Producer

A nonprofit health organization in Fairfax, VA seeks someone who can immediately design and develop solid and innovative approaches to meet future content publishing requirements and business opportunities.

Recommend, develop and edit using hand-coded HTML to manage content via web-content management system. Test and validate content. Keep up-to-date with evolving features, tools and content publishing needs. Recommend and participate in continuing improvements for website production workflow, processes and policies.

Qualifications:

Must have 4+ years of relevant experience with a minimum 3 years work experience in content production, web publishing, and content management and delivery
Portfolio Required
Advanced Knowledge of CMS, preferably Wordpress, for design and development involving: HTML, XML, PHP, JavaScript, ActionScript and CSS
Familiarity with FTP applications in a Mac OS X environment, server file management.
Working knowledge of site analytics
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge and understanding of information architecture and web usability
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
Project management skills
Advanced problem-solving skills
Demonstrated expertise in online best practices
Familiarity with Windows Server 2003, MySQL, SQL Server and Exchange Server
