Mississippi has a law in place stating that “each public, private and parochial school may maintain a supply of auto-injectable epinephrine at the school in a locked, secure, and easily accessible location”. SB 2218 was signed by the Governor on March 31, 2014. The law is known as the “Mississippi Asthma and Anaphylaxis Child Safety Act” and will take effect on July 1, 2014.
