Mississippi has a law in place stating that “each public, private and parochial school may maintain a supply of auto-injectable epinephrine at the school in a locked, secure, and easily accessible location”. SB 2218 was signed by the Governor on March 31, 2014.  The law is known as the “Mississippi Asthma and Anaphylaxis Child Safety Act [2]” and will take effect on July 1, 2014.
