North Carolina has a stock epinephrine bill pending in its legislature:
HB 824 passed the House and was referred to the Senate Committee on Education.
The current 2-year North Carolina legislative session, which began January 9, 2013, will close on July 1, 2014. If the stock-epinephrine legislation is not passed it will carry over to the 2015 legislative session.

Sample ACE Team Activity:
Ms. Glenn trained and distributed E3 bag tags and stickers to 18 students and 3 staff who are at-risk for anaphylaxis.
Ms. Blake wrote a holiday and anaphylaxis article in the ParentNews (a school newspaper) which was disseminated to parents of more than 300 students.
Ms. Blake planned and completed an ACE presentation, “Developing Guidelines for Severe Allergic Reactions”, for 15 private school nurses at the American Hebrew Academy.
Ms. Lowe-Bumper worked with district school nurses to distribute educational materials and the E3 bag tags and stickers to all at-risk elementary, middle, and high schools students.
Ms. Lindsey completed a group training to 45 employees at Oakwood Elementary School in Hickory, NC, as well as one-on-one trainings for teachers of students with life-threatening allergies.
