30,000 families! That’s how many have already documented their compelling stories and helped shape allergy and asthma care in the United States through Allergy & Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics surveys since 1985.
It’s the most powerful demonstration of what has changed and what remains the same for adults and parents as they make daily decisions about all types of allergy and asthma related conditions and how policies benefit or sometimes create barriers to care.
Importantly, it tells the world something they can’t know otherwise: What to do about it.
But this groundbreaking research won’t be complete unless it includes your OPT IN story too.
Who’s Invited: AANMA’s Family Allergy & Asthma Decision Mapping Project is open to families of one or more adults 18 years of age and older who agree to participate in AANMA’s confidential online surveys. Participants do not need to be AANMA members but must submit valid registration information to be accepted into the project.
Privacy: Accepted participants will be randomized and assigned a number to ensure privacy. Participant names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and other identifying information will not be sold or distributed to outside vendors, sponsors or organizations.
Fees: There are no fees required or paid for participation. Participation is entirely voluntary and for the benefit of your family and families like yours across the nation. AANMA is a nonprofit organization which derives support for projects such as these through patient, medical professional and corporate memberships, donations, sponsorship, and grants.
How information will be used: AANMA will use survey results to detect trends and understand critical issues you say matter. We’ll use it to publish what we’ve learned, share the knowledge with decision-makers and hopefully leave the world breathing a lot easier in the process. We’ll never release your name but as long as you keep your information current, we’ll let you know when we are publishing results of the research! It’s what we’ve been doing for 27 years…we see no reason to stop now!
